In today’s society where women’s voices often struggle to be heard, Hannah Ebun’ Adeyemi stands tall as a lecturer, health care assistant, life coach, and the convener of the Woman of Worth initiative, now known as SHE Foundation.
Her journey into advocacy began in 2014 after a life-changing encounter. Hannah recalls seeing a 13-year-old girl who was pregnant. The experience left her deeply disturbed. After sharing her concerns with a friend, she was encouraged to use her platform to reach out to young women. That moment birthed Woman of Worth (WOW), a vision that has since grown into a global movement impacting lives across different communities.
Over the years, Hannah has led initiatives that provide mentorship, financial aid, and emotional support to women and young girls. Through her foundation, she has worked with victims of domestic and emotional violence, supported schoolgirls, and helped women rediscover their identity. “This platform helps the female gender to find themselves again, believe in themselves, and work towards becoming better,” she said.
Despite the successes, her journey has not been without challenges. Relocating to the United Kingdom presented a difficult season. She described the early years as lonely and overwhelming. “There were times I cried, got depressed, and abandoned WOW,” she admitted. Yet, the persistence of those who believed in the vision kept the foundation alive.
For Hannah, focus and values remain her compass. “The world is full of noise, but noise only causes chaos. If you follow the crowd, you end up losing yourself. True stability comes from quietness, being content, and staying true to your values,” she explained.
Her message to women is clear and powerful: “You are made for more. We are not just wives, mothers, or women defined by appearances. We are pace setters, solution providers, and global changemakers. Never let anyone make you feel less than who you are.”
The SHE Foundation continues to inspire women across the globe, reminding them of their strength, identity, and capacity to bring change.
